Throughout school we offer a mixture of learning through structured “play” experiences and focused teaching opportunities. In planning we take account of the different learning styles, interests and levels of attainment in order to organise an environment which helps children to engage with their learning intellectually, emotionally and physically. Adult interactions are informed by knowledge of child development and how children learn as well as by the content of the National Curriculum. | |

Reading areas offer a cosy corner to share a book. Listening centres and puppets are also available. |

Small world areas encourage story-telling and stimulate the children's imaginations. We use a range of natural and man-made resources. |
